Small business reporting built on your own data.
GuildHall sets up small business reporting and dashboards built on your own data. We connect the systems you already use, agree what each number means, and help you use the reports as the business changes.
At a glance.
- What it is: reports and custom dashboards on your own data, with each measure defined and the records behind it checked.
- Who it is for: small business owners who rebuild the same numbers by hand, or whose systems disagree.
- How it starts: a free 30-minute call, then an optional $500 Quick Win or monthly support from $500.
- Where: based in Kansas City, working remotely with small businesses across the United States.
What good small business reporting aims for.
A short set of numbers ready when you need them, so nobody has to rebuild a spreadsheet by hand each week. Sales, jobs, hours, bookings or billing, depending on how your business runs.
Most of the work is not the dashboard. It is agreeing what each number means, matching the periods across systems and checking the records that feed it. Reports can only be as current as the records behind them, so we set that expectation from the start.
What we set up.
- Connections to the systems you already use, or agreed exports where a connection is not practical.
- Clear definitions for each measure, written down.
- Reports your team can pull, and custom dashboards for the questions you ask most.
- A check of the records the reports depend on.
You can click through example dashboards, one real build and five templates, on our work page.
After the dashboard is built.
Reporting is most useful when someone helps read it. With monthly support we look at trends with you, compare options before a decision and adjust the reports as the business changes.
We work in your own accounts and on your own data. No software vendor pays us. GuildHall is based in Kansas City and works remotely with small businesses across the United States.
How it starts, and what it costs.
A free 30-minute call, then an optional $500 Quick Win or monthly support from $500.
On the call we talk about the business, the systems you use and what is getting in the way. If a first piece of work makes sense, the Quick Win covers one agreed problem for a one-time $500 fee. Half the Quick Win fee, $250, comes off your first month if you go on to monthly support.
Monthly support starts at $500 and scales with the scope we agree in your proposal. It runs month to month, with 30 days’ written notice to end it. You can also begin with monthly support and skip the Quick Win.
Questions owners ask.
Do we need a data warehouse or new software for this?
Not to begin. We start with what your current systems can report or export. If a larger setup would help later, we explain why before anything is bought.
Which numbers should a small business owner look at each week?
It depends on the business, but usually a few measures of sales, the work in progress, cash coming in and the time spent to deliver. We agree a short list with you rather than tracking everything.
Can you connect our accounting system to our other tools?
Often, yes, depending on what each system allows. Where a direct connection is not practical we agree a regular export instead. Your proposal states which connections are included.
Who owns the data?
Your business data stays yours, and we work in your own accounts. Rights in the reports and configurations we build are set out in the signed agreement.
What does it cost?
A free 30-minute call, then an optional $500 Quick Win or monthly support from $500. A first report or dashboard can be the Quick Win.
